![]() That’s exactly the case with the R4 3DS RTS cards. Have a card that you can rest assured will keep getting updates, and in some cases, the card itself will be updated as well, to ensure that it will work on even newer systems. So it only makes sense to really grab a real R4 3DS, because at least then you’ll know you I simply mean that in some cases, you’ll end up having issues when it comes time to update or upgrade the firmware. Now, I am not trying to say the cards won’t work. Unless it’s an official card, you will run in to these problems. This can be attributed to perhaps clone cards, or cards that are made by third parties. It is also the reason why many cards take a month or more to update. While kernel upates are great, they can hinder the speed at which new firmware updates are released, simply by the developers having to rely on the same amount of memory and space as they had used before for previous updates. But only the official card was actually updated hardware wise. Just in the last week, there have been several updates, kernel wise, to a lot of the r4 3ds cards.
